Our Doggie DayCare program was designed to be a dog's world with dog social behavior in mind, not human behavior. Dogs are not human and have a different set of rules than we do! Dogs naturally pack, and our daycare provides the space they need to do so while avoiding over crowding, bumping and other issues dogs consider rude. Crowding can lead to aggression. A dog will naturally seek a pack leader and follow it's pack leader, staying within a group. For a dog, this is a secure, comfortable environment. The room our daycare has allows dogs to stay within their pack groups but have the choice of playing with others or strolling calmly without being bumped uninvited.

About Puppies & Young Dogs Under 1 Year

Puppy Socialization and Good Dog Manners Development: As is with all of Royal Paws services, our doggie daycare commitment to your dog's safety and well-being while enjoying dog socialization is no different. Although we have plenty of space so we can provide the personal attention and the care to each, we only take a limited number of well socialized, well-mannered dogs. That means to you that once your puppy can enjoy our dog daycare, your puppy will develop social skills through our pack leaders and being around dogs of good manners so there isn't the risk of them bringing home any learned bad habits.

Puppy Fitness Development: In addition to your puppy becoming well socialized, we will want your puppy to have visited our off leash park enough so that his/her physical stamina is good enough to run and play and swim for the amount of time you will want/need to leave them. Young dogs have growing pains and are at risk of injury with too sudden of exercise levels, so talk with your veterinarian when considering taking any dog under a year to a daycare for eight hours or more. When you start bringing your puppy out to our park, our experienced staff will be happy to talk with you about when we think it is right your puppy good social skills and work their physical stamina up in our off-leash with other dogs before you bring them to our day care program. We ask that for the safety of your puppy and any friends he/she may play with that all dogs that come out to our facility have completed all series of puppy vaccinations including adult Parvo and Rabies booster.
