My puppy, Shadow, suffered from extreme separation anxiety -- taken out on the handbrake and steering wheel of my car! His anxiety was so great that we resorted to the expert dog psychologists at UGA's Veterinarian School. Doggie Prozac was the main prescription. Luckily, though, at the same time, I found out about Royal Paws from my vet and immediately enrolled Shadow in regular day care. In fact, Shadow was there marking the gate on the first day!

After just a few months at day care, Shadow was completely off his meds and able to relax when I was away. And, with Ernie's, Cindy's and Terri' tutelage, Shadow's become; a social animal! Used to be that he huffed and puffed at all kinds of people (men) and cowered away from all kinds of dogs. But now, he runs right up and gooses anybody, no matter whether a complete stranger or not; and no dog is safe from Shadow's guerilla attacks.

Shadow's a regular Doggie DayCare boy. When he doesn't make it, there's no mistaking his disapproval -- Shadow stands still in the middle of the kitchen with his head hanging looking like the consummate lost puppy.

We couldn't make it without Royal Paw Doggie Day Care!!! Thanks to Terri, Ernie and all for making it possible and making my and Shadow's life very enjoyable!

He is a "once in a lifetime dog... you have heard people say that, well...Kistler really is. He is happy and goofy and oh... I could go on and on. When he was a puppy, we used to spend hours walking the hills of the off leash dog park. I couldn't wait to leave work to take him and just get lost watching the dogs play. There aren't too many times or places in my life (I don't know about yours) where you can just take time to "be". It was so wonderful not to think about anything much more than how much fun the dogs were having. As a result of the interaction and physical activity at the park, Kistler became well socialized, confident and healthy... everything you want for your best friend.

When we became pregnant with our human baby, everyone warned me that we wouldn't have as much time to devote to our furry baby. I didn't agree, but being honest... they were right. Kistler is now a big brother and he doesn't get the long walks or the hours at the park with us that he used to. He DOES get the same love and most importantly... he still gets to go to the park because of member doggie day care! It feels so good to drop him off and watch him run up the hill with his buddies. He gets his exercise and lots of extra love from his second family at the park. When I pick him up, he thanks me with a big kiss and crashes for the night. I feel like Kistler is still getting the things he needs and deserves. Royal Paws is Kistler's place... he loves Terri and Ernie (and apparently Clyde and Chloe's dad-ha!) like his own family. We have no doubt that Kistler is that "once in a lifetime" dog, in large part, because of the experiences he has had at the park. I look forward to walking those hills again, and boy do I miss my furry friends... but, until then, at least my big guy is having fun for both of us!

Royal paws dog park has been the perfect place for my two dogs, Jake and Maggie. That all dogs are first screened for vaccinations and temperament, and having the park staffed at all time gives me peace of mind. The Socialization and wide open spaces to run have no comparison! I take my dogs with me everywhere I go and I hear over and over "your dogs are so well behaved. The reason they are is that we go to the park everyday, so they are relaxed and calm, all that excess energy drained from romping with their dog-pals at the park! Without question, their behavior as well as physical condition have been improved by our membership to the park. It is a benefit for me as well, a welcome break from a stressful day at the office. We will be members for life.

Royal Paws is the biggest and best off-leash Dog Park in the whole wide world... well at least all of Atlanta!
